TOM GLEDHILL
Tom Gledhill has over 35 years founding, building, buying and selling companies. He is a seasoned, multifaceted executive with extensive operational and financial expertise. After beginning his career in sales and sales management, Tom founded a service bureau for physicians and successfully sold it a couple of years later. He later founded a company that developed software solutions for civil engineers, and successfully sold it to a large private company.
After receiving his MBA, Tom joined a large consulting firm that provided management consulting services to the healthcare industry. As an outgrowth of this experience, he founded a software company that provided information systems to outpatient healthcare facilities. This company became one of the largest providers of outpatient healthcare information systems in the Northeast and was successfully sold to a large, publicly held strategic acquirer.
Tom has written several articles and papers on various aspects of the healthcare industry. Early in his career, he developed a financial planning model for HMOs that became a standard in the industry. Tom holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maine and an MBA from Boston College. Tom is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI).
JAMES GODSILL
Jim Godsill has extensive C-Level corporate experience and is Delta Capital Group's inhouse expert in the Retail sector. Jim has 35 years executive level general management, sales and marketing management, operations, and financial experience in companies ranging in size from $5 million to $175 million in sales. He was President of a 35 store mall-based retail chain with $50 million in annual sales.
Jim has successful and extensive experience in private equity placement, senior debt and mezzanine financing up to $25 million. He brings substantial expertise in M&A with a track record for timely acquisition and divestiture of varying categories of businesses.
Jim has a BSBA-Accounting from Boston College and an MBA - Economics and Finance from Babson College. Jim is Treasurer and a member of the Board of Trustees of Cape Cod Museum of Art.
JACK MALLAGHAN
Jack is Delta Capital Group's inhouse expert in the Manufacturing and Telecomm sectors. He is a seasoned serial entrepreneur with a long record of successful business ownership. As a value added reseller (VAR), Jack designed, consulted, and sold network and telecommunication IT hardware and equipment into the retail, financial, and manufacturing industries.
Jack founded and owned a network installation company to support the telephony industry after divestiture of MA bell into the baby bells. Prior to that he was VP of Communications for Chase Manhattan Bank in the credit card division handling electronic funds transfers (EFT). He also has Product Manager experience and was responsible for the development and programming of IBM's BOM and Product Structure environments in the manufacturing field.
In addition to his high tech manufacturing/B2B service experience, Jack has owned an Entertainment Center which included 36 lanes of bowling, an amusement center, and a bar/restaurant. He has an active Massachusetts Real Estate license. Jack is a graduate of Providence College and a veteran of the US Army.
JEFFREY LIGAS
JOHN GLEDHILL
A native of Massachusetts, John Gledhill brings significant experience consulting for and advising small business owners in the financial management of their companies. Prior to joining Delta Capital Group, John consulted for an international franchising company, advising hundreds of franchisees in the areas of cash flow management, capitalization, and senior debt financing. He also has experience as a middle market commercial banker for major commercial banks in upstate New York and Phoenix, Arizona. In this capacity, John worked with businesses between $3 million and $30 million in revenue in industries as diverse as manufacturing, distribution, business services, telecommunications, security, retail, software, and IT.
He has spoken to audiences of small business owners and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) on the topics of cash flow forecasting and bank financing, and has been published as a small business financing columnist in regional business publications.
Prior to his banking career, John served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy onboard the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D Eisenhower and the amphibious assault ship USS Trenton. During his service, he received the Navy Achievement Medal for his leadership of the Weapons Division during pre-deployment activities.
John received his MBA in Finance and Marketing from Carnegie Mellon University and his BS in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is active in Rotary International and SBANE and has served on the Board of Directors of the Phoenix-based non-profit Future for Kids. John is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of Massachusetts and is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI).
